Last updated: 15 October 2026

Fernandes Legacy Finance Pty Ltd, trading as Stratega Finance (ABN 16 671 549 821), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information. It applies to information you give us through our website, our booking page at book.strategafinance.com.au, our social media advertising, our lead enquiry forms and any direct contact with us.

We are authorised as a credit representative of Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence 389328. We handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our website or a social media lead form, we may collect:

When you book a call with us, we collect your name, email address and mobile number, how you would like to meet, the name of anyone you are bringing, and what you tell us you want to cover. We also keep the time you booked and whether the call went ahead, was moved or was cancelled.

Some calls ask a few short questions when you book, so we can prepare: which best describes you, your approximate annual income, how many investment properties you own, your goals, the age range of your household, whether you have savings or equity available, whether your loans have been reviewed recently, whether you are open to a strategy fee, when you are looking to act, what is holding you back, and how you heard about us. You choose from set answers; we do not ask for account numbers or documents at this stage.

If you reach our booking page from one of our messages or from a lead form you have already filled in, your name, email and mobile may be filled in for you, so you do not have to type them twice. You can change them before you book.

If you progress to a finance application, we collect further information needed to assess and submit that application: identity documents, income and employment, assets, liabilities and expenses, property and entity details and your credit history. We provide a separate privacy disclosure and consent document at that stage.

How we collect it

We collect your information directly from you. This includes information you submit through lead forms hosted on Facebook and Instagram, forms on our website, our booking page, and details you give us by phone, email, text message, video call or in person. With your consent we may also collect information from third parties such as your accountant, your lender or a credit reporting body.

When you submit a lead form through Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes the details you entered to us so we can respond to your enquiry. Meta’s handling of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages and emails about your booking

When you book a call, you agree to be contacted by text message and email about that appointment: a confirmation, a reminder the day before, a reminder an hour before, and a message if the call is moved or cancelled. Text messages come from the mobile number of the team member you are meeting, so you can reply to them directly. Every message carries a link to move or cancel the call yourself.

Reply STOP to any text message and we will not text that number again. Booking messages are not marketing; see the next section for marketing communications.

Following up your enquiry

If you send us an enquiry, for example through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, and have not booked a call, the team member looking after your enquiry may contact you by text message and email over the following days to help you book. If you enquire outside business hours, you may receive a text straight away letting you know when we will call. These messages come from that team member, and each one carries a link to book a time.

They stop when you book a call, when we speak with you, or when you ask us to stop: reply STOP to a text message, or use the link in the email.

How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Access is restricted to people who need it to do their work, every opening of a client record by a team member is logged, and our systems use password protection, signed sessions and access controls.

We keep information only as long as we need it:

If we suspect your information has been lost or accessed without authority, we assess it under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the law requires.

Marketing and opting out

If we send you marketing communications, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to a text message, or contacting us using the details below. We will action your request promptly.

Cookies and website data

Our website uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, and our advertising may use cookies and similar tools, to measure how people find and use the site and to improve how we reach people. Google Analytics records how visitors move through the site and does not identify you by name. The Meta Pixel lets Meta match site visits to Facebook and Instagram accounts for advertising measurement and audiences. Our booking page sets no cookies and loads no analytics. After some bookings you are taken to a confirmation page on our website, which uses the tools described here, so that we can measure which advertising leads to a booked call. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad preferences through your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
